Labor Day

You woulda thought this was Arbor Day weekend... We had a busy weekend.

Monday, Jason and I ran and had breakfast w/ my old friend, Todd Z. It was nice to see him. . . On the way home from breakfast we stopped at Homo Depot and I found a tree on sale that I really liked. That sounds strange...no, I'm not a dendraphiliac...but I thought it was cute, and I'd wanted to put a tree in the front yard for a while. SO I bought this little Kwanzan Japanese Cherry. It looks really nice in the front..and hope that it survives the rains we are getting now. If it doesn't stop soon I'm going to have to start building an ark.
