Thursday Thursday

What a boring fucking day!

Work was horrendous and class was tedious. I can't wait for my current projects to be over. I've almost over-extended myself this year w/ work and school. Not that I can't handle work and school at the same time, but that I have thrown myself completely into both.

I could have coasted by for the year at work, who would've blamed me? ? ? But NOOOOO I have to see if I can push the envelope. I have to be an over-achiever. Can't do anything half-assed. So I'm stuck w/ a shitload on my plate right now.

Open Enrollment, for one, is a real mess this year. I chose to re-design the open enrollment materials for the company. It's no wonder no one's done it in the past few years... the inertia in the department is unbelieveable. Change is nearly impossible, and people move at a snail's pace in one direction.

Anywho, at least this term at school is almost over...although, this has been a rather easy 2 classes. I hope the next two are just as easy. I was not looking for a challenge in going back to school; just a way to get my degree and be done with it. Now, I find that I need some sort of challenge. Fickle bastard, aren't I????
