Thanksgiving

Today is the day.

We give thanks to all of those things that are familiar and fake. We put on a happy face, head to the homestead, and pretend everything is perfect over a meal designed to sedate everyone into a wonderful state of carbohydrate-induced euphoria...

Or not!

I did what I usually do... I stuffed myself silly in the company of friends. I went to Manda's house for a really nice dinner. It was just Manda, her Mom, her Brother, and I.

Then we did my usual thing and watched Home For the Holidays. It's my favorite holiday movie. I just love Holly Hunter and Robert Downey Jr. (God he's so hot...for a druggie).

Anywho...here are things I can be thankful for:

Friends
J.
A cuddly kitty
A well-paying job
A good home
Good Food
A little over a year before I'm a college grad
A little over 4 years and the country is rid of Bush

Ok, I digress... SoOoOoOo. . . Let's see how tomorrow goes. I hope to hit at least a couple of early bird sales. Maybe a little power-shoping will get this boy in shape.
