G'Mornin' Bitches

Why is it that during the week, when I have to get up early and go to work, I can't seem to wake up. Though, on the weekend, when I have no reason to get my ass out of bed, I can't seem to stay asleep? That's f'ed up right there, that's what that is!

It's also been 4 days without my Sirius satellite radio. I'm in withdrawal. I got the thing for X-mas and love it, but about a month after I got it I noticed a small glitch. Whenever the electronics gods decided they were bored, they would just make the remote control stop working. I thought WTF is this shit? Since it happened intermittently, I ignored it. Then, it started happening more, so I thought..."maybe the battery in the remote is dead." The same thing happened after replacing it, so that theory was shot.

Well, this went on for a while so I decided to call the manufacturer, JVC, to see if I could get this repaired. They were SOOOO unhelpful. "Mail it back to us, we will look at it, then mail it back to you." I asked for a turn-around time and they couldn't provide one, so I waited until I was damn well ready to live without my radio for a while. I was a good boy and shipped it Priority Mail through the good-ole US Postal service, because that only takes 2 days to get where it needs to go. They got it on thursday, as the tracking system explained, so I called them yesterday. Then John told me "yeah, we got it, and we are sending you a new one either today or Monday." Then he told me that they would ship it UPS Ground (aka Slow Boat to China). ARGGHHH So it will be another week for my beloved satellite radio. DAMN JVC!

Let's talk about good product service...Toshiba. When I had problems with my PocketPC they said "let us over-night you a box and mailing label so that you can overnight the unit back to us. Then we will fix it within 48 hours and ship it back to you via overnight delivery." Why the fuck can't everyone be like that. That's some damn good service! Nope, JVC sucks.

Don't even get me started on Dell customer service. It took them over a year to replace a modem, though I provided them with the (accurate) part number 14 times. 14 times they sent the wrong pwrt. Then my warrantee expired. Dellholes.
