Housing Blues

This weekend has been a weekend of torment due to my housing situation. J's had the house on the market since Thanksgiving and we have been looking for a house since. Well, on Saturday, we had a few groups of people through the house and one of them decided to bid on the house. After some negotiating, we came to an agreement late Saturday night.

On Sunday, we went to look at another townhouse (the one we had an agreement on was really pissing us off) and loved it. However, the owner couldn't move out until April 14th. Meanwhile, J had already signed the agreement on our house to close on March 31st. J thought we could get the buyers of our house to let us pay to stay there until our closing. WRONG! These assholes refuse to stay at their apartment any later than March 31, so we have to now send our cats to separate friends' houses, find temporary housing, and put our shit in storage for 2 weeks.

Holy shit this is annoying! I'm so pissed right now, it's not even funny. We can't go to an extended stay place w/ the cats because most don't allow them, or if they do, it would cost us around 1200 for two weeks of stay. Since they can't get along with each other, it looks like Kira's going to have to pay a visit to Chris and Niko. God knows where Maggie will go. OY! This is going to suck ass bigtime.
