but I like the cookie

This weekend saw more visits from the animal kingdom, or TO it, rather. Manda, J, and I went to see "Over the Hedge" on Saturday night.

Just a little background, Manda and I have a penchant for going to see any fun-looking animated children's movies that come out. So, it's no surprise that I passed up "Art School Confidential"(which looks to be hysterical) to see "Over the Hedge."

We were not dissappointed!

Steve Carell and Wanda Sykes really stole the show with their characterizations. Who can't help by love Steve's "Hammy" when he pitifully whimpers "But I like the Cookie!"?

Also, there's the scene in which they are told that, when seem by a human, to stop what they are doing and lick their privates. Wait, was this a kids movie? LOL! This one cracked my shit up! I don't want to give too much away, but it's definitely a fun 90 minutes.

I will have fantasies of captioning that movie when it comes out on DVD. If I have to, I will arm-wrestle for that assignment if given the chance.

And I suspect that "Play?! PLay play play play play!!!" is gonna be up there with "Mine?! Mine! Mine! Mine!"

Clearly any movies with shit blowing up and/or deep, meaningful *cough* Lindsay Lohan *cough* relationships must be foregone this weekend in favor of this movie! You should make movie reviews a regular topic, that was way fun =)
