Nostalgic Music
It's sad to think the stuff I listened to as a child is now considered oldies. I mean, this was new-wave, punk, pop, disco, and the like. It was hip, fresh, cool and now it's just "Old."
So imagine my surprise when today, in Target, I hear two little voices singing...get this...Now these kids were maybe 4 and 6.."Video Killed the Radio Star." Now, I don't know if some kid's group did a cover of the Buggles, or what, but I was shocked. I didn't see them at first, but immediately thought "Are those John's? But then peaked out in the aisle and realized they weren't.
God that made me feel old.

My children will be singing that in the aisles. Promise.
Just wait it gets worse. Once you reach forty you realize that you have nothing in common with twenty year olds. Nothing!
funny thing...they DO know that song!
