Randomosity

So I've been spending my free time either reading or playing with my wii. Fulfilling life, eh?

On the Wii, I've been playing Super Smash Brothers Brawl and Wii Fat...er...I mean Fit. Both of them have their advantages. Though the SSBB is showing me that my arthritis has, in fact, started in my hands. It's hereditary and there's nothing much I can do about it, but after about an hour smashing up the bad guys, my hands feel like that lady on those arthritis cream commercials. Pretty soon I'm going to need that electric jar opener.

The fat/fit on the other hand has been telling me that I'm getting healthier and healthier. It keeps giving me fun games to play (i.e. exercises) like Rhythm boxing and Balance Bubble. I love it's approach of making exercise a game, because that's the only way you can get me to commit to anything regularly. I've managed to lose 5 lbs on the damn thing in 2 weeks and am aiming for another 6-10 more. Woo Hoo!

As for reading, I've still been on my memoir kick. Not my memoir (I've not experienced enough), but those of a Drag Queen, Widow, Southern Belle, and Professional Homo. I also read some fluffy love-story that came out less than fluffy. I have another wonderful book to read that Miss Manda got me for x-mas, however, I need some fluff to surround it with. While she has fantastic taste in literature, this stuff is pretty deep and dark, and I like my brooding surrounded by funny stuff like hugs, drugs, and pugs.

5 lbs in one week? Ok, I'm buying the thing.
