WWW

Today's story is about the Wicked Witch of the West (WWW)...

It has become blatantly obvious that my former boss and evil nemesis, WWW, has been up to her old tricks (and some new ones).

Currently my division of the company is undergoing a major reorganization effort. This would all be fine and good were not the WWW part of the design team for this. Even though I no longer work for the W, she is not content unless she causes me and my current boss (we shall call her Glinda) a great deal of issues (don't call me Dorothy).

Right now she is sending my co-worker, and major pain in the butt (let's call her The Flying Monkey, or TFM for short), out on reconnaissance missions. TFM has been prying me and Glinda for info whilst reporting her findings back to WWW. She's also been stirring up troubles with the execs to try to taint their opinion of us. What's amusing about this situation is that most of the execs can see right through her. What's even more amusing is the fact that WWW thinks of me as the Scarecrow. I don't know where she gets off thinking that I'm stupid, but she does.

Anywho, she's been planting these seeds throughout the company and they keep reporting back to me what she's up to. I don't solicit this information, but it appears that people are more than happy to divulge them. So this leaves me with the following quandary: Do I say something to someone? Do I pull a "I know something you don't know" with her? Or better yet, do I keep going about my job and pretend to play dumb?

I don't know what I'm going to do yet, but I am keeping my eyes and ears open. God, I hate office politics. :click click click: "there's no place like an island in the Bahamas..."
