Edith was troubled by a horrible ass

...or if you think that's bad, think of poor Benny and her Electric boobs and Molehair suit...

Ok, so today, for the holiday, I decided that we had to go to the Waterfront to see the new James Marsden movie, 27 Dresses. I was pleasantly rewarded with a venue where I could sit and drool over Mr. Marsden in the dark for about an hour and 45 minutes.

It's the story of a young man, a writer, who is disenchanted with his job as a writer for the wedding commitments section of the newspaper. At one wedding he meets the most peculiar girl played by an actress, Katherine Heigl (I think). Who has this thing for being a bridesmaid. She's also got some sort of crush on her boss who is played by Edward Burns who, in his old age, is still quite doable.

Well, she's all messed in the head, but poor Kevin (Marsden) keeps pursuing her unworthy ass. He's apparently slightly mental, as he should be at home pining over me. Oh well. There's even a fun scene in a bar with them screwing up "Benny and the Jets."

So the movie goes on with a whole lot of that crazy Heigl and not enough of Mr. Dreamy. Someone should tell the producers that I would have paid double had James taken his shirt off, but it was not to be. That's ok, I have this to tide me over:

Aww Cyclops... poor guy never gets the girl (Notebook, Xmen). Does he finally get her this time? Because if he doesn't, it just means he was meant for you.
