High Crass Thai

Tonight me and the buddies ran off to Shadyside for dinner. We decided to pop in to a new place, Typhoon, for a quick dinner. I love Thai, so I was game for an adventure in dining. But this place was like an expensive hooker...Dressed up nicely, but when the lights go out (or not) still just a hooker.

Don't get me wrong, the food was good, but it was not on par with other, more authentic, Thai restaurants in the area. The wait staff was tiresome and haughty. Maybe it was our fault that we just stopped in for a casual dinner, but the waiters looked down their noses at us the entire time we were there. They acted as if we were going to steal their silverware, just because we were in shorts. They even snorted the prices when reading the specials to us...Like we couldn't afford it! Maybe if the food was better they'd have reason to be such prats. I was highly offended and will not be going back any time soon.
