C is for Cookies

...or I missed my calling.

Now that my department at work is getting huge, I can't fairly purchase gifts for a select few. They are women afterall, and you CAN'T just alienate the rest, heaven forbid...I mean, have you ever seen women fight over the attention of the gay man in the offer? It's sad. It's like a village of Ethiopians on a Big Mac. Anywho... I digress.

So, I decided that I would just bake some cookies and bring them in to share with the girls ('cuz the girls love their sugar). J thought it would be fun, due to the weather, to just spend half of the day baking. So we ended up baking 4 different cookies (about 14 dozen total) so that we each could take some to work.

They came out pretty good, except the ginger cookies which decided to fall (probably the weather), but still tasting good. Below you will see the fruits of our labor.

I just hope that when I break them out tomorrow I'm not stuck in a stampede of hungry hungry hippos.

Damnit those cookies look good. You probably just earned about 2 years of goodwill by bringing in cookies for female coworkers.
