I Don't Care

...Or, Finally an Idol group that I don't feel the need to vote on.

Well, tonight Nosferatu and Whiny-bitch got the boot from Idol. This is the first time ever on Idol that I can sit back and relax the last 3 weeks without having to swear at the screen, pledge to veto Ford, or pick up the phone and vote.

Why do you ask? Because they are all four deserving of being in the finals. I don't care who wins. It would be like Oprah going up against Bono for president(not that that could happen)...either way, I'd feel like the world is in good hands...sort of...

Do I like anyone more than the other? Nope, not really. Do I think anyone will be more successful than the others? Yep. But who cares, these guys should all get record deals and have at least mediocre success.

First you have LaKisha who, despite her lisp, is a serious powerhouse of vocals. She could take over the crown from Miss Patti LaBelle if she really tried.

Secondly, there is Blake who won my heart this week with that dark hair and his usual, unique vocal stylings. Plus, the boy seems to know a bit about mixing and could be a wizard in the recording studio (and maybe in the sack ...).

Next is Jordin; she could probably develop into the next big thing. She's got a fantastic voice and unique look, but bland enough as is to be molded into nice little cash-cow for some record company if they played their cards right.

Finally, there's my girl, Melinda. Girlfriend tore it up this week (and every week). She has the power and control of her voice of a seasoned pro. Melinda also can throw an attitude on stage that would make Aretha stop and take notice. But when the music stops, suddenly she is Hooks from Police Academy. I love that--cute, talented, and humble.

Once they took Sanjaya away, amazing how there has been a lack of 'care' about Idol.

Or maybe that's just me ;)

ice Academy is a perfect comparison. You're so right - she's one personality on stage and other off. Wouldn't it be nice thought, to have one pstar who isn't a complete and totaly bitch? We should start a pool if she wins, see how long it takes her to flash her stuff in public and shave her head.

The world needs Bono in command like a fish needs a bicycle.
